Pennsylvania’s Education for All Coalition (PEAC) believes that children of all backgrounds and abilities should be successfully educated together in their neighborhood schools within the general education curriculum.
In 2000, a grassroots group of concerned parents and professionals who share this belief gathered in collaboration with the Institute on Disabilities ((http://www.temple.edu/instituteondisabilities/)) at Temple University. Based on this simple idea of inclusion for ALL children, Pennsylvania’s Education for All Coalition was born with the intention of becoming a beacon of inclusive ((link to ‘About our Lighthouse Logo’ page)) practices for the Commonwealth.
